Some new aerial photos of the landslide or rock slide that blocked Highway 64 in Tennessee were posted last week by WTVC Channel 9. This was the landslide caught on video that I posted about previously.

TDOT officials have awarded a $2.1M emergency contract for removal of roughly 30,000 cubic yards of material and rock bolting to help stabilize what’s still hanging on the slope. They expect the work to take about 8 weeks. (Photo by Dennis Hutcheson from WTVC Website)
